Grammy Award-winning producer Justin Gray visits Campus Dieburg

In June, the Sound, Music and Production degree program at Campus Dieburg had the pleasure of welcoming internationally renowned Grammy Award-winning audio producer Justin Gray. Gray, Grammy Award Winner 2026, presented his award-winning album Immersed to students and guests of the Verband Deutscher Tonmeister.

As part of an expert discussion, Justin Gray provided in-depth insights into the creation process of the Dolby Atmos album. Participants gained fascinating behind-the-scenes impressions and were able to experience the artistic and technical production process of an immersive music production first-hand. More than 70 students and industry guests attended the event.

In the afternoon, guests also had the opportunity to experience the native Dolby Atmos album in the Dolby Atmos control room of the Sound, Music and Production degree program. The direct exchange with Justin Gray and the opportunity to ask questions to a globally recognized expert in audio production left a lasting impression on the students.

With Justin Gray’s visit, the SMP degree program was able to welcome a Grammy Award-winning audio producer to Campus Dieburg for the second time, following Hans-Martin Buff’s visit in 2025. The following day, Gray further expanded on the topics in a masterclass for sixth-semester students, who are intensively engaged with the design and production of immersive audio as part of their studies.

The visit highlights the practice-oriented, international and future-focused approach of the Sound, Music and Production degree program at Campus Dieburg.
