Storytelling with trout

Media Faculty News Research Events Research Event

The “Real-World Laboratory for Ecological Narrative” at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences invites all interested parties to discover new perspectives on the relationship between humans and nature. As part of the international research project ‘Talking Salmon’, students are collaborating to create creative texts, films and artistic formats centred on salmon, trout and the ecological issues of our time.

How do we tell stories about climate change, species extinction and our connection to nature? In open workshops and writing sessions, the Real-World Laboratory explores these questions – in an experimental, interdisciplinary and practical way. No prior knowledge is required.
