Subject: Lebens_Läufe – Media Art Laboratory for Dialogue

Major summer exhibition at Fechenbach Castle Museum

Dieburg, 5 May 2025. – From 19 June to 20 July 2025, the Fechenbach Castle Museum will host the media art exhibition ‘Subject: Life_Courses. Media Art Laboratories for Dialogue’. The exhibition will open on 18 June 2025 at 6.30 pm with a festive opening reception.

As in previous years, it is being curated and organised by students on the International Media Cultural Work (IMC) Master’s programme at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. This marks the eleventh anniversary of the collaboration between the two institutions.

The exhibition features installations, soundscapes, short films, visual art, interactive media settings and artistic performances. All the exhibits have in common the view that life stories are open-ended experiences capable of fostering dialogue between the audience and the creators, thereby promoting greater mutual understanding.
