SheepWell is an interactive system comprising the Sleep Sheep by the child’s cot and a bedside lamp in the parents’ bedroom that is connected to it. Another part of the system consists of a dummy and a nappy clip. These are also fitted with sensors and connected to the Sleep Sheep.

Through this connectivity, the Sleep Sheep can monitor the child’s wellbeing and the conditions in the nursery, and alerts the parents in the event of any irregularities. This is done via the bedside lamp, which can glow in different colours and, if necessary, wake the parents with an alarm.

At the same time, the Schlaf-Schaf forms part of the evening bedtime ritual – a regular routine that helps the child fall asleep. The sheep plays a melody and glows in soothing colours, thereby creating a pleasant atmosphere for sleep.

If the child wakes up at night and all the circumstances seem to be fine, the Sleep Sheep performs the ritual again and helps the child fall back asleep. This means parents don’t have to be woken up, and all those involved get more sleep.

SheepWell is primarily designed for new parents who would like more support. The number one concern for parents of babies is sleep, as parents rarely get enough of it.
Parents also want to know what is going on with their child, especially when they are crying. We support them in this too.

The effectiveness of sleep rituals has been scientifically proven, which is why the app was designed with these in mind.
