About the Project
Piramids Experience is a virtual journey that takes users beyond the surface of Egypt’s most iconic monument—the Great Pyramid of Giza. Unlike typical guided tours, this immersive VR narrative places users in the role of a descendant who feels an irresistible pull towards the mysterious interior of the ancient structure. The experience begins with an external view of the pyramid. Drawn by curiosity, the user begins a climb towards the hidden entrance. From there, they are greeted by a ghostly figure—an ethereal guide who will accompany them throughout the adventure.
With a torch that magically lights itself, players are led into the heart of the structure. Along the way, they’ll need to crouch, climb and push physical obstacles— makingnavigation of the pyramid a deeply embodied experience. The environmental storytelling builds gradually through interaction and exploration, revealing fragments of forgotten knowledge as users move deeper into the unknown.
The journey culminates in the Grand Gallery, where the user encounters a mysterious object: an ancient boat. This climactic interaction sparks a magical transformation and hints at something greater—perhaps symbolic, spiritual, or even otherworldly. The project does not merely simulate history; it invites participants to feel the weight of heritage and discovery, using physical interaction and spatial design to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity.
The prototype blends narrative progression with multi-sensory stimulation, offering players a fully immersive perspective on archaeological myth and wonder. It is not just a tour—Pyramids Experience is a story of reconnection, exploration and uncovering meaning within one of the world’s most enduring human achievements.
