Every day, we use our hands to move, control and even create things. In the digital world, however, they’re often used merely to operate a mouse or press a key. But that’s all set to change! CUBE’s control options are based solely on the movement of the cube and combine this with the intuitiveness of modern MIDI controllers.
Simply by sliding, rotating and much more, you gain a new, compact way to control effects and arrangements. And all with just one hand. With its simple, modern and ergonomic design, combined with immersive visual feedback, the CUBE is a performance tool that’s sure to turn heads. Say goodbye to static, dull clicking away at rigid boxes. Take control of your sound yourself: with CUBE!
Performance
CUBE is optimised for controlling the Session View of the Ableton Live digital audio workstation. In Session View, you can build your track live by playing back various loops or clips and modifying their sound. CUBE integrates directly with all key features, utilising the…
Movement
A gyroscope is built into the cube, which constantly monitors and transmits the CUBE’s movement. Three motion modes play a central role in this.
TILT the cube and the change in colour will show you which track is selected. ROTATE the cube to adjust a specific effect. SLIDE the cube in any direction across an imaginary matrix to control two effects simultaneously. Many more effects and sounds can also be controlled using the buttons fitted to each side of the cube.
Wireless
To ensure you can use all six sides of the cube without restriction, data is transferred between CUBE and your computer via Bluetooth. Combined with the robust design of its outer casing, CUBE enables you to deliver a flexible and action-packed performance.
