The 3D audio drama ‘From the Soil to the Crown’ tells the story of a small tree discovering the world around it. From the tree’s perspective, listeners are treated to a unique audio experience that illustrates the cycle of life in nature. Much like a tree firmly rooted in the earth, the listener’s position remains unchanged throughout the story. Yet as the tree grows, its surroundings change, and so the audience experiences a variety of events and situations that shape the tree’s habitat.

Professional narrator Peter Weiß lends his voice to the radio play. With his exceptional talent for storytelling, he brings the story to life in a unique way and captivates listeners from start to finish.

Other cast members included Martin Haas (hunter), the Stehle family (family scene), Nils Mosch, Lea Eberhardt and Lilli Pape.

The radio play was produced in the ‘Dolby Atmos’ 3D audio format; here you can listen to a binaural stereo version.

Therefore: please use headphones!

To ensure that the content is suitable for children and that they do not feel overwhelmed or underchallenged, regular listening tests were carried out with family and friends, particularly with children in the relevant age group.

‘From the Soil to the Crown’ takes you on a journey into the exciting world of a small tree and conveys the cycle of life in nature in a unique way. An audio experience for the whole family!
